MOSTAR, Bosnia and Herzegovina, April 10 (Xinhua) -- The agricultural cooperation between the Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC) and China within the 16+1 framework is in focus of the 21st International Economy Fair Mostar that opened on Tuesday in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), with numerous Chinese companies showing their latest products.
The expo of "Agricultural Equipment and Investment of the 16+1 countries" was opened within BiH's largest and most important economic fair in Mostar, some 120 km south of the capital Sarajevo.
BiH Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic said when opening the expo that he is delighted that "the biggest Chinese company that sells in more than hundred countries of the world" is among 800 exhibitors present at this year's fair.
He was referring to the "YTO Group Corporation", one of Chinese export brands of choice in the field, while the Lovol Heavy Industry, one of the fastest growing brands was also present at this expo.
Sarovic continued by saying that the fair's special emphasis on the "16+1" framework, agricultural mechanization, equipment and tools, represents an exceptional opportunity for Chinese and European companies to present their latest innovations in the field of agricultural equipment.
"This fair is a good example of how to strengthen and develop economic cooperation, and the latest technological achievements and innovations in mechanization, equipment and tools required for successful and competitive agriculture," he said, thanking representatives of China and BiH for their engagement.
Audience at the fair was especially interested in the extensive offer of tractors, road rollers and cross-country trucks manufactured by Chinese companies.
With exhibition space of 1,000 square meters, China's exhibition at the fair aims to enhance cooperation with CEEC, including BiH, in the field of agriculture, organizers stated.
