RIYADH, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday the interception of a missile shot from Yemen toward its border city Najran, Al Akhbariya TV reported.
The local news channel said that the Saudi air forces intercepted the missile shot by Houthi militias that targeted the south border, particularly Najran city.
The missile attacks increased recently. The Saudi-led coalition involved in a war in Yemen highlighted last week that since the beginning of the war, a total of 180 missiles have shot toward Saudi Arabia.
The coalition accused Iran of supplying the Houthis with weapons and missiles to destabilize the regional security.
