BEIJING, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- A collection of books of children's literature created in China over the past 70 years have been published, according to China Culture Daily.
Marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the collection is comprised of 70 classic children's works from 70 Chinese writers, the newspaper reported.
Liu Weihong, deputy editor-in-chief of the publishing house, said the books have illustrations created by more than 50 illustrators from countries including China, Italy, Germany and Spain. They are expected to enable children to have more fun and appreciate beauty in reading.
